        Japan Exchange Program Spring/Summer 2027

Every two years, Cambridge students may participate in our Cambridge-Yamate Homestay Cultural Exchange with Yamate-Gakuin high school in Yokohama, Japan. This program fosters cultural understanding and lasting friendships through the experience of students living with host families and exploring local culture, history, and traditions. It’s an enriching opportunity that broadens horizons and deepens appreciation for both American and Japanese culture. Our Cambridge Bear Community hosts Japanese students in April, and our students travel to Japan in July. Pictured here with Dr. Shea and our Yamate-Gakuin hosts are Principal Ashley Agans and Mrs. Julie Williams, both of whom contributed substantially to the success of our inaugural cultural exchange in 2025. We're currently recruiting hosts and travelers for our 2027 Cambridge-Yamate Homestay Cultural Exchange.

This trip was not sponsored by Cambridge High School or Fulton County Schools.
